I am new to blogging but feel like I can offer support to other mums-to-be, new mums and other mums in general. I am new to the mothering world and what a journey it has been so far.
Trying to keep fit whilst pregnant, getting the nutrition right so you don’t put on excessive weight, keeping the dreaded gestational diabetes away and thats before the little one is born. Then in those first few weeks when your whole life has changed, your not getting any sleep, this new bundle of joy is demanding everything from you, you are so hungry all the time (especially if breastfeeding), how do you keep from putting weight on and losing any fitness you had?
This was everything going through my mind and no-one tells you how hard it is to eat healthy (let alone make healthy meals) and maintain any form of exercise during this period. As time passes, it does get easier, trust me, but you have to form a habit. I am looking forward to sharing my journey right from pregnancy and beyond and hopefully can help some other mums out there.
